The Olympic Speedskiing run at les Arcs provided the ideal opportunity for Francois Bon , GIN Team Pilot, to see what speed he could achieve with his GIN 8 square metre speedflying proto. In a straight line on the very steep piste, and with the help of the European Spatial Agency, and French National Science Institute, a GPS system gave the result of 146.46 Kph. (91 mph)

This World straight line Speedflying record is asking to be broken next year!!

? Is there any video of the world record attempts ?
