Been wondering about this for a while....
I have noticed 2 different techniques when jumping/flying
1: The pilot keeps their ski's parallel - more for when doing small jumps
2: The pilot crosses their ski's X - when in the air for longer glides.

Is there a reason for #2 as it is also very common in Kite Snow Skiing also when the riders are doing big jumps ?

For my instance the only reason is that the #2 position is more cool than #1

Doing this position in kitesnow or speed flying I've noticed any variation respect the first one.

    Bye
