I guess this is just local site rules and means that a PG licence with Speedfly extension is still required to fly in Switzerland? Can anyone clarify this?

As a current speed rider, I have no qualifications for either speedriding or paragliding (although i have done speed riding courses), given that I have no paragliding qualifications would I first have to attain my paragliding qualifications to then get this swiss speed riding extension to then be able to speed ride in switzerland? If so would I need the elementary or club pilot qualification?

Also, what are peoples opinions on the likeliness of these rules spreading to France/Italy etc.?

    Thanks for your help,

    Rob

Yes, would need CP paragliding qualification first or the Swiss equivalent before taking the speedriding extension course.
